Cute Bee

£0.00

‘Cute Bee’ is a free crochet pattern. The cute bee has been designed as a reminder of the importance of bees, and as a fun decoration to go with other craft projects!

The third Saturday in August is National Honey Bee Day across the United States of America. Don’t forget to celebrate bees on 20 May — International Bee Day!

The reason why 20 May was chosen as International Bee Day is that Anton Janša, beekeeping pioneer, was born on this day in 1734.

Bees play an important role in the ecosystem, responsible maintaining ecological balance and biodiversity in nature, alongside other pollinators. About a third of the world’s food production around the world depends on bees.
