Remembrance Poppies

Materials:

DK yarn in black (for centre), DK yarn in contrast colour for petals. 3.75mm or 4mm crochet hook.

Tension / Gauge:

Tension is not crucial for this pattern.

Instructions:

With black yarn:
Magic loop.
Chain 1, 12 double crochet into loop
Join with slip stitch
Change to contrast yarn (unless working black poppy)
Chain 3, into same stitch 2 triple trebles, work 2 triple trebles in top of each double crochet until seven pairs of triple trebles have been worked. Chain 3, join with a slip stitch where last triple treble was worked, chain 3, work 2 triple trebles in top of each double crochet (five pairs of triple trebles), chain 3, join with a slip stitch where last triple treble was worked. Fasten off and sew in ends.
